In this photography exhibit, see the frozen moments from bareback rodeo competitions. Eight seconds may seem like an eternity when atop 1,300 pounds of bucking fury with only a suitcase handle to hold on to. When horse and rider are in sync the interaction can be beautiful. When they aren’t, the early dismounts can be bone-crushingly hard landings. Using a reductive process, these photos have been adjusted digitally to remove distractions and increase the focus on the subject. Be immersed in the emotions and excitement the riders and spectators feel.
